having entered my 9th week of development, i am no longer an embryo. i am officially a fetus now.
yipee!

everything is going well, except that mommy gets a a little nausea every once in a while. it has become routine for her to start her days with a piece of peanut butter toast, and end them with a piece of bread. check out her picture at 8 weeks pregnant.

today mommy, daddy, aidan, and i went to our first appointment with mommy's midwife. everything is looking really good. my arrival date has been revised again. it is now 23-dec-2005. mommy and daddy still think that i will come after christmas. the midwife told them that most of the time a second pregnancy goes much like the first so not to be suprised if i am two weeks late and induced like aidan was. you can imagine how well that went over with mommy :-(
well i have some growing to do so that the web between my fingers and toes goes away. i am going to rest now, but be sure to keep checking back from time to time for updates.

today mommy, aidan, and i went to see mommy's nurse. she gave an estimated due date of christmas eve! wow what a holiday that will make for the family! that isn't the last due date. there is an official one that they will give me after the ultrsound which gets cast in stone, pretty much.
we go see mommy's midwife next week and the ultrasound will be on monday 06-06.
so far so good.

i am currently cashew, but i will have a real name in the coming months. i am about -33 weeks old now (that is a negative sign in front of the 33), which means my preliminary arrival date is right around christmas (dec. 26 based on some rough calculations). my mommy will go see the nurse on tuesday 5/10 and i'm sure they will give her a new due date that will change yet again after the first ultrasound which i think should be in the beginning of june.
i'm so excited! i can't wait to get bigger and stronger and be born and eventually meet you! i hear that i have a big brother who is just awesome. that's cool because i will have someone to play with and to look out for me. i really can't wait to meet him.
i hope to keep you updated fairly frequrently as i develop. i know i'm just an embryo now, but my heart is already beating. eventually i will be a fetus, and then an infant.
