daddy was whistling to me last night. do you think i liked it?

yesterday was the day that i officially started crawling. i'm still mostly frustrated and pretty awkward about moving anywhere. and i can only manage to move a foot or two to get to a toy or something else. usually i do it through a variety of movements. i don't quite know how i end up where i do, but it works for me.
yesterday though i was able to put the arms moving with the knees moving and take 2 steps (if you call them steps). i did it right in front of daddy which was really cool since he isn't around as much as mommy. he thought it was pretty neat that he got to see something before her. i did it again for mommy and aidan after he told them. aidan was so excited! he got so giddy. when daddy asked him why he was so excited he whispered in daddy's ear "because dylan crawled."
that was it for the crawling so far. nothing too exciting. it will still be a while before i am speeding around the house, but just wait . . .
speaking of my big brother, we sure have been having some great brother time lately. he treats me so good, and i am just totally enamoured with him.
